It’s Summer, time for the Beach!
At our annual meeting on Sunday, June 2, 2024, we voted to raise annual dues to $175 for resident members and $200 for associate members as of the 2025 season. The members also authorized a $20/year fee for use of the kayak rack. It is time to renew your membership for 2025. The 2025 Annual Meeting will be on Saturday June 28th at 11:00 am.
The beachfront is open for the season. Lounge beach chairs and sand toys should be available. The raft is out. We are be planning our compliment of family friendly events for members. Our first will be our 4th of July event, which will actually be on Saturday, July 5th. The Steak Fry will be on Saturday, August 9th and Italian Night will be Saturday, September 13th.
The pavillion is not available for reservations on Memorial Day weekend. It is available for all members use those days. The same is true for the 4th of July and Labor Day weekends. We are now taking reservations for the 2025 season,
The beach gate has been reactivated. If you paid your dues, your pass will be active for the 2025 season. You can Venmo your payment to @Edward-Passarelli, mail in or drop off your payment (amount below) to:

- Beach pass number (located on the back of the beach pass)
If you want to register a watercraft for storage, contact Ed, see above, or Ron at rstevenson2407@gmail.com. They will be taking registrations and handing out Coast Guard approved decals at the annual meeting. Only boats with stickers will be allowed on the racks and boats must be removed by October 30th.

If you own or rent property in Plum Point, you are welcome to join the Plum Point Shares Improvement Association. Members are issued cards that allow automobile access to the beach parking lot. Members are permitted to park their vehicles in the lot, launch small watercraft and rent the pavilion. We are now taking reservations for use of the pavilion for summer and fall 2025. See our calendar for available dates and use the request form to ask to reserve a date for a private function. See the about page for rental details. Some dates, especially holiday weekends, the pavillion is reserved for the general membership and anyone can use a table. See the events page for details.


At our 2017 annual meeting, we voted to make the area under the pavilion a no smoking zone. Please respect the no smoking signs and find an area away from the pavilion if you must smoke. There is also no skating, skateboarding, or bicycle riding under the pavilion.

At the 2024 annual meeting, a motion was passed to increase the annual dues from $150 to $175 starting in 2025.
